We look at your historical usage with your current retailer, along with your solar and battery's performance, to work out a fair monthly allowance for Bring Your Own Battery No Bill. On top of that, you get some extra buffer for unexpected needs, so everyday life doesn't tip you over. Full details of how this is worked out are in our Terms and Conditions.

Once the Smart Controller is installed, you can track your usage against your monthly allowance any time in the Reposit App. We'll also give you a heads up as you get close to your limit, and again if you go over it.

Yes. We set a seasonally adjusted allowance so you have enough available when you need it most, such as over summer or winter, and refine it over time as we learn more about how your home uses energy.

We'll let you know as soon as it happens. A small administration fee is added to your next bill to cover the cost of reviewing your account, and within 3 business days we'll offer you a revised plan that better fits how you actually use energy.

Accept the revised plan and you start fresh. If it keeps happening within a rolling 12-month period, the administration fee increases each time, and in rare cases we may need to end the service. The full detail, including the fee schedule, is set out in our Terms and Conditions.

You'll need to be with one of our partnered retailers, and we can help you switch if you're not. Once you're set up, we manage your account with them directly, so you won't receive separate electricity bills. You just pay Reposit one fixed monthly subscription.

No. Your existing solar and battery keep whatever manufacturer warranty they already have, completely unaffected by Bring Your Own Battery No Bill. The Reposit Smart Controller we add comes with its own 5-year warranty, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

Yes. Just give us 30 days' notice. We'll disconnect the Smart Controller and your existing system goes back to its normal operating mode, run by its own manufacturer app rather than by Reposit. If you took the Smart Controller at no upfront cost over a minimum subscription period, and you leave before that period ends, an early termination fee may apply to cover the remaining hardware cost. If you're planning to add more solar or another battery, let us know first. We'll need to re-check your eligibility, monthly allowance and subscription against the updated system before you make any changes.

No fixed multi-year term. Bring Your Own Battery No Bill runs month to month, and either you or Reposit can end it with 30 days' notice. Reposit has been operating since 2012, working with thousands of Australian homes. If Reposit were ever to stop trading, your existing solar and battery remain yours, and the Smart Controller can be disconnected so your system reverts to its normal operating mode.

You're responsible for maintaining your existing solar and battery, just as you were before signing up, and for letting us know within 10 days if something's not working properly. The Reposit Smart Controller is covered by its own 5-year warranty, so if it needs attention, that's on us: get in touch and we'll arrange a technician.
