Creating Applets

Before you create your first applet, make sure you have followed the steps above to connect Reposit to your IFTTT account.

Also make sure you have connected the service that you wish to control to your IFTTT account.

  1. Go to ifttt.com if you are using a computer, or open the IFTTT app if you are using a Smartphone. Make sure you are logged in to IFTTT.
  2. On the website, click on “Explore”, or on the Smartphone app, press “Get more”.
  3. Press “Make your own Applets from scratch.”
  4. Click on the ‘+’ to add a trigger.
  5. Search for “Reposit” and select the blue Reposit icon.
  6. Choose a Reposit trigger.
  7. Press the ‘+’ to select what you would like to happen when the Reposit trigger occurs. You can connect other IFTTT services such as smart plugs so that you can control electrical devices.

You can create as many applets as you like. You can control smart plugs to turn on and off devices, you can send notifications or emails to yourself or other household users - the possibilities are endless.

Turning On/Off Applets

If you want to turn your applets on or off, open IFTTT, find “Reposit Power” and you should see a list of your applets that use Reposit triggers. Select an applet and press the “Connected” switch to switch the applet on or off.
